Private Tours

University of Glasgow Historical Tours will always work to accommodate parties of all sizes and regularly takes bookings from visiting colleges, schools, other universities and tour groups.

We are currently offering private tours for 2 people or more, up to a maximum of 20 visitors per guide. We can offer private tours on any day of the week. Private tours can be booked by emailing boxoffice@src.gla.ac.uk but please try and give us 24hrs notice to organise a guide. The Box Office is open Monday- Friday 9am to 5pm and we will respond to any tour requests at our earliest convenience. Please be aware that for groups of three or fewer, the minimum tour price will be £30 to cover the cost if the guide. 

When booking a Private Tour, we would ask for as much information as possible such as:

• The name of the leader of the party
• The contact email address of the original purchaser
• The date of attendance
• The time of attendance
• Total number of those attending in a tour party
• Are any attendees eligible for concession? Student, aged over 60?

Please be aware that private tours will require payment before the tour takes place.  Payment can be made by invoice, credit/debit card over the phone on 0141 330 5360 or by bank transfer.  A cancellation fee may be charged for tours that are cancelled at late notice.
